About Me
Im Zarah, I work on site as a pool builder and contractor. Being on site every day, I repeatedly saw the same pattern, women were entering trade pathways, but many were not staying long term. The issue wasn’t capability or work ethic, it was isolation, uncertainty and not knowing who on a site was supportive and approachable.
Pink Tradie Ladie SupportHER On Site was created to solve that problem in a simple and visible way. Rather than policies, audits or compliance frameworks, the focus is practical culture and clear signals of support that exist in the real work environment.
To make that support visible on site, I developed identifiable tools that workers and businesses can use immediately:
SupportHER On Site Bands
A recognisable marker worn on site indicating a supportive and respectful workplace presence. For workers, it reduces uncertainty about who they can approach. For businesses, it demonstrates an active commitment to workplace culture.
PTL Tool Belts
Work belts designed from hands-on trade experience and built specifically to suit women working physically on the tools. They address common fit and functionality issues that often make standard workwear impractical.
These items act as visible identifiers, not promotional products.
They allow support to exist in the environment where work actually happens.
Through the SupportHER On Site alliance, organisations can align with Pink Tradie Ladie and demonstrate practical backing for women in their workforce, subcontractor networks and project environments. The initiative does not replace existing HR, safety or diversity programs. Instead, it supports them by providing a clear and immediate on site presence.
The goal is straightforward:
Getting women into trades is important, but keeping them there is what creates long term workforce stability and industry growth.
Pink Tradie Ladie focuses on retention, confidence and visibility delivered from someone actively working within the industry, not observing it from outside.
Organisational enquiries, partnerships, speaking and SupportHER On Site enquires are welcome. Please leave your details below and I’ll be in touch.
